This is what I saw
A young woman bent, and broken, crying on the floor
In utter despair she cried aloud
“I am here what is it You want of me”?
“Success you will have a good dose of fame too
But what I really require
Is a big ask of you…
Irrespective of your answer
Know that I love you true
Give everything away!
I saw your tear stained face turn up
Face the Master and straightaway you replied”
“Here you are Lord
Take it all my Lord
I will serve you always and today”
I saw Him smile
Take your face and
Gently wipe away those tears
“Well my daughter
Feed the nations”
“Pardon Lord,?”
I heard the surprise
“No longer x2
But millions through You?”
I saw His tender look
And smile
As He opened your eyes
And you looked and saw the hunger and shame
The pain and blame
All in His name
You stood up strong
And picked up your sword
“I go to battle for the truth of the Word.”
I looked again and smiled as I saw no longer twenty
But a few years more
You still wield the sword and battle
For His truth you daily put on the garments, the armour He gave you to battle
For the Word- His Word
He showed me your smile, your twinkling eyes, Your eyes that flash with thunder when His truth is denied
How He loves you dear friend every single day
His arms enfold you
His love upholds you
He sweetly whispers your name
“Lynne feed the Nations, Lynne care for the sheep
I know they are millions
But you I trust to keep
The light to keep going
You have done so well
I love you my luvvie
I hold you tight
I Never stop whispering my love for your name
My Luvvie, my light of the nations
You are my delight!”
